Pesarean Gunung Kawi is a pilgrimage site and a cultural center visited by many from all across the nation and internationally since 1871. This final resting place for Eyang Djoego and Eyang RM Iman Soedjono is located on the southern slopes of Mount Kawi, approximately 40 KM southwest of the City of Malang, East Java. Pilgrims and visitors of Pesarean Gunung Kawi will be able to do a plethora of cultural and religious activities in the area while enjoying the beautiful mountainous natural landscape and feel the tranquil atmosphere of Mount Kawi. In addition to that, visitors can also explore the various traditional cuisine dan local agricultural products of the Wonosari Village and its surroundings, explore our commercialized areas, and on certain days visitors might be able to catch some religious and cultural activities that are often held in the Pesarean area.
